AIGA Design LAB Workshop

"Get Out the Vote" was this years' topic for the AIGA Design LAB (Learn And Become) workshop on February 23 & 24. The 35 students attending the weekend workshop, hosted at Mililani High School, were hand-picked by graphic design teachers at seven schools - Mililani, Campbell, Kaimuki, Kapolei, Radford, Waialua and Waianae. For two days students worked closely with volunteer professional graphic designers to create thought-provoking posters that encourage participation in this year's elections. Posters and photos from the workshop can be seen at Ryan Hirata, MHS Alumni & AIGA facilitator's homepage.
